June 19, 2008 - Access to Mercurial Repository
To make it easier to follow the development process of WiiCade technology,
we have setup a publically available source control repository. Currently
the repository contains a new database technology under development that
will help power new WiiCade features currently under development. Existing
projects like the Wii Remote API will appear in the repository sometime
in the near future.
The address to the repository is: http://www.wiicade.com/hg/hgwebdir.cgi
See the Mercurial
website for information on how to checkout files to your local system.
November 8, 2007 - WiiCade Labs launches Beta Multiplayer API!
As part of the Week of Deimos celebration, the WiiCade
Multiplayer API officially goes into Public Beta! Here on Labs
you can download the Test Server, examples, documentation, and
(of course) the client API both in Actionscript or in Javascript!
Looking to take the leap into making online multiplayer games? Well
now's your chance! And if you have any issues, feel free to ask
for help on WiiCade's forums. Many programmers are already familiar
with the multiplayer API and can provide their expertise to help
their fellow programmers along. =)
November 7, 2007 - WiiCade Labs launches Beta Javascript API!
After a complete rewrite to conform to the new WiiCade API, WiiCade
is proud to announce the beta release of a Javascript API. This API
can be used to develop cool new games in pure Javascript.
The beta release contains all the same great features as the
Actionscript/Flash API, though some of the event listeners
are not yet supported. If you have any questions, concerns, or
run into any issues with the new API, you can post them on the
forum and they'll be addressed as quickly as possible.
